JAMMU, Nov 2: Janipur police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 912 intoxicant capsules and 9 banned syrup bottles.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Janipur Police Station led by SHO Inspector Naresh Sharma laid a naka near Muthi Morh Roop Nagar and intercepted a scooty bearing registration number JK02BB-8127.
During checking, police team recovered 912 intoxicant capsules and 9 banned syrup bottles and arrested the rider.
The arrested person has been identified as Vishal Sangral, son of Sham Lal Sangral of Vikas Nagar, Sarwal, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 130/19 under section 8/21/22 of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
