JAMMU, May 27: Bakshi Nagar Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered intoxicant capsules from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bakshi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Harjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar laid a naka and intercepted a scooty.
During checking, police team recovered 210 intoxicant capsules from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Pankaj Sharma, a resident of Subash Nagar District Jammu.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
