Drug peddler arrested with heroin

JAMMU, Aug 12: Gangyal Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 11 grams heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh and assisted by PSI Sanjeev Sharma under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma and SP South Mamta Sharma laid a naka at Sehora and intercepted a pedestrian, who was coming from Sehora to Kunjwani.
During checking, police team recovered 11 grams heroin from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Sukhwinder Singh alias Shibu, son of Balwinder Singh of Resham Garh Colony, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 91/2022 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
