KATHUA, Apr 9: Industrial Estates Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 16 grams heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from Police Post Industrial Estates led by Inspector Rajinder Khajuria under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kathua Shammi Kumar and SSP Kathua RC Kotwal during patrolling duty near Chack Partap Singh intercepted a motorbike bearing registration number PB06AS-1620.
During checking, police team recovered 16 grams heroin from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Talib Hussain, son of Kala Din of Keerian District Kathua.
A case under FIR Number 128/2022 under Section 8/21/22/ NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kathua and investigation set into probe.
