JAMMU, Feb 28: Sarwal Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, during checking, a team from Police Post Sarwal led by SI Yougal Sudan under the supervision of SHO Bakshi Nagar Inspector Manjeet Singh intercepted a bullet motorcycle bearing Registration Number JK02BL-6721 near Bhagat Singh chowk.
During checking, police team recovered 15 grams heroin from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Vishal Sharma alias Vishu, son of Ram Prakash Sharma, a resident of Shakti Nagar District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 39/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
