JAMMU, Sept 12: Gadigarh police arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from Gadigarh Police Post led by SI Manoj Kumar laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police team recovered 20 to 30 grams heroin from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Anup Sharma, son of Dilbagh Sharma, a resident of Pandoria, Tehsil Bishnah, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 192/19 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Satwari Police Station and investigation started.
