JAMMU, June 26: Sidhra Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 716 grams of cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Sidhra led by SI Majid Hussain along with sleuths of DSB under the supervision of SHO Nagrota Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh and SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar laid a naka and apprehended a drug peddler along with 716 grams of cannabis.
The arrested person was identified as Shabir Ahmed, son of Abdullah of Dedha Tehsil Gool District Ramban.
A case FIR Number 269/2022 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
