JAMMU, Sept 19: Sainik Colony arrested a drug peddler along with 388 grams of cannabis.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Sainik Colony led by SI Rahul Dogra under the supervision of SHO Channi Himmat Inspector Karan Chalotra laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 388 grams ganja from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Manoj Kumar, son of Bagh Chand Bansal of Madhya Pradesh, at present Sector D Sainik Colony District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 150/21 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and investigation started.
