KATRA, June 29: In continuation to the drive against narcotics, Katra Police today apprehended one drug peddler and seized eight grams of heroin from his possession.
The accused was identified as Rajan Sharma son of Rattan Lal of Hansalli, Tehsil Katra, district Reasi. He was intercepted by a Police party from Banganga, under the jurisdiction of Katra Police station.
A case FIR number 131/2018 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered against the accused at Police Station Katra.
The arrest was made by SHO P S Katra, Inspr Surinder Paul Singh, assisted by IC PP Banganga, SI Jaswinder Chaudhary, under the supervision of ASP Katra, Naresh Singh and SSP Reasi Tahir Sajjad Bhat.
