RAJOURI, Apr 17: The police in Rajouri’s Thannamandi Sub Division arrested a notorious drug peddler along with a consignment of drugs.
A team of police headed by SHO Thannamandi Inspector Hilal Azhar under the supervision of SDPO Thannamandi Viqar Rasool was during routine naka at Nerojal, intercepted a vehicle and held one person namely Mohd Shakoor, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Dhanidar Rajouri for questioning.
During his personal search as well as search of vehicle JK11E 649, police team recovered 40 tablets of Tapentadol and 75 tablets of Ultracet semi from his possession The said person was arrested from the spot and vehicle has been seized. In this regard case FIR No. 43/2024 U/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in police station Thannamandi.
