RAJOURI, May 14: As a part of special drive against drug menace launched by Rajouri Police, a Police Party today under the supervision of DySP Ops. Iftkhar Ahmed and SHO P/S Rajouri Inspr. Yashpaul Singh laid a Naka at Gujjar Mandi and intercepted an individual who was roaming in Gujjar Mandi area in suspicious conduction.
During his search 100 grams of charas was recovered from his possession. He was identified as Mohd Parvaiz S/o Noor Hussain R/o Dodaj, Darhal. He is a police constable and presently posted in Rajouri Court. In this regard, case FIR No.242/2015 U/S 8/20/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rajouri. Further Investigation is going on to unearth the modus operandi of the drug paddlers and their nexus with other local and non-local associates.
