JAMMU, June 24: A drug de-addiction camp was held today in Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal.
The camp was organized by the Jail authorities in collaboration with Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) under the guidance of VK Singh, Director General of Police, Prisons, J&K. All the Jail inmates and staff members participated in the camp.
While delivering awareness speech on drug de-addiction, Superintendent NCB highlighted the ill effects of drugs and psychotropic drugs.
Senior Superintendent, Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal, Dinesh Sharma, in his speech, said that the Jail authorities are committed to support such endeavour and initiative always.
Medical Officers of Central Jail were also present on the occasion.
