JAMMU, Feb 15: DRS International School RS Pura today celebrated Annual Day with great zeal and fervour.
The programme began with the welcome speech of chairperson, Supinder Kour, followed by lighting of traditional lamp by the chief guest . In her speech, she addressed the esteemed gathering and emphasized on the importance of culture in a child’s life.
Senior Advocate of J&K High Court and former MLA, Romesh Arora was the chief guest while the guest of houour was ZEO RS Pura, Kamla Devi. Special guest of the event was Chairperson of The Performer NGO, Urja and former MLA, Gharu Ram.
Students of the school displayed cultural programme and mesmerized the audience with their energetic performance.
Principal of the school presented vote of thanks and applauded the efforts of the DRS fraternity to make the function a grand success.
