BHADERWAH, Sept 29: A driver got seriously injured, when the car he was driving plunged into gorge near Khara area, here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02F-3495 was on its way from Gandoh to Thathri, when the driver lost control over the steering and the vehicle landed into gorge, causing serious injuries to driver.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the seriously injured person to nearby hospital and later referred to District Hospital Doda for advanced treatment.
The injured has been identified as Kareem Ahmed Lone, son of Bashir Lone, a resident of Khara.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
