RAMBAN, Sept 5: A driver was killed while his helper received injuries after a dumper rolled down in gorge at Bhimdasa area of Gool here.
The deceased was identified as Zakir Basheer, son of Basheer Ahmed, while the injured was identified as Amir Hussain, son of Gul Mohammad, a resident of District Anantnag.
The injured has been shifted to CHC Gool for treatment and was later referred to DH Ramban for advanced treatment, while the dead body of the deceased has also been shifted to mortuary of CHC Gool for autopsy.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Gool and investigation started.
