RAMBAN, Oct 30: A driver was killed after a car he was driving rolled down into deep gorge near Ramsoo on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway early this morning.
As per police sources, a brand new car coming from Jammu to Kashmir rolled down into deep gorge near Ramsoo on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, resulting into on the spot death of the driver.
The deceased was identified as Aqeel Ahmad Shaw, son of Mohammad Syed Shaw, a resident of district Baramulla.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case FIR Number 125/2021 under Sections 279 and 304-A IPC has been registered at Police Station Ramsoo and investigation started to ascertain the cause of the accident.
