DODA, Mar 24: A driver was injured when the Tata Mobile he was driving skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Ganpat bridge, here today.
As per police sources, a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK06-8286 was its way towards Pul-Doda, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into 150 feet deep gorge near Ganpat bridge, resulting into injuries to the driver.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured driver to District Hospital Doda, where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports poured in.
The injured driver has been identified as Nawaz Ahmed, son of Mohammad Ashraf, a resident of Bagerni, District Doda.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Doda Police Station and investigation started.
