SAMBA, Mar 24: A girl consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at her home in hilly village of Dhamari Goran in Samba district today.
She has been identified as Jyoti Devi, 22, daughter of Sobha Singh, resident of Dhamari Goran. Police said she consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at her residence and fell unconscious. Her family members immediately brought her to District Hospital Samba, where doctors washed her stomach and referred her to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further treatment. Her condition is stated to be critical.
The Samba police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
