Srinagar, July 10: A driver has died in a road accident in Karnah on Wednesday evening.
A police spokesman said a Sumo JK09-2710 skidded off the road and fell in a gorge at Tia Mode in Karnah, resulting in on spot death of the driver, Tanveer Ahmad son of Raja Shabir Ahmad of Teetwal.
In another incident, a truck driver was electrocuted when his truck touched a live wire in Qazigund, Kulgam
A police spokesman said Joginder Singh son of Cheat Ram of Samba was electrocuted when his truck JK02AD-7818 touched a live wire at Alstop in Qazigund.
He was shifted to hospital for treatment, the spokesman said, adding, police has registered cases in these accidents.
