Driver, associate injured as truck rolls down

RAMBAN, Dec 9: A driver and his associate received injuries after a truck rolled down into gorge near Nachlana area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway here today morning.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing Registration Number PB06V-6007 was on its way to Punjab from Kashmir, when the driver lost control over the truck and it rolled down into gorge near Nachlana area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, resulting into injuries to driver and his associate.

After getting information, police team along with Army personnel rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
The injured driver and his associate were retrieved from the gorge and shifted to MI Room at Nachlana from where they were later shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where they were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The injured were identified as Kuldeep Singh (driver), son of Tarseem Singh and Lovely Singh, son of Jaspal Singh, both residents of District Gurdaspur Punjab.
A case under FIR Number 138/2021 under Sections 279 and 337 IPC has been registered at Police Station Ramsoo and investigation started.
