JAMMU, Dec 14: Gangyal Police arrested a driver and his associate along with 20 grams heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gangyal Police Station led by SHO Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia under the supervision of SP South Vinay Sharma laid a naka near Kunjwani and intercepted auto load carrier bearing temporary registration number PB08 TME373-2019.
During checking, police team recovered 20 grams heroin from the possession of the driver and his associate and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Victor Massi, son of Khurshid Massi and Rajbinder, son of Rattan Chand, both residents of Pathankot Punjab.
A case under FIR Number 145/19 under section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation initiated.
