JAMMU, Sept 11: Police arrested a driver along with illicit liquor pouches from Talli Morh area, falling under the jurisdiction of RS Pura Police Station.
As per police sources, after developing specific information, a police team led by Surinder Choudhary, SDPO R S Pura under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal laid a naka at Talli Morh RS Pura and intercepted a auto load carrier bearing registration number JK02AW-2494.
During checking, police recovered 30 pouches of illicit liquor from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Raghubir Singh Chib alias Veeru, son of Shanker Singh Chib of Abdal, RS Pura.
A case under FIR Number 209/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
