DODA, Mar 24: Two persons including a driver have been arrested along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, during checking, a team from Pul Doda Police Post intercepted an Alto car bearing registration number JK06-1268.
During checking, police recovered 36 pouches of illicit liquor from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Sudesh Kumar, son of Duni Chand, a resident of Sherena Shiva.
Meanwhile, the team also arrested a person along with 37 pouches of illicit liquor. The arrested person has been identified as Raj Kumar, son of Bhagi Rath of Ravarna Bhalla.
Cases under FIR Number 39/18 and 40/18 have been registered at Doda Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pul Doda Police Post SI Yog Raj made the arrests under the supervision of SHO Doda Inspector Manjeet Singh, DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
