Drabu assures to redress grievances of clerical cadre

SRINAGAR, Dec 26: Finance Minister, Dr Haseeb Drabu, today assured the clerical cadres that removal of disparity/ pay anomaly will be made effective till January 9, 2017.
The Minister was addressing the clerical cadres during a largely attended disparity/ pay anomaly convention, which was organized by Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association (ADCSA) here today. He attended the convention as a chief guest.
Dr Drabu further assured the association of the change of nomenclature of clerical cadre i.e junior, senior and head assistant. He also assured that the Government is keen about these issues including the regularization of casual/seasonal/ adhoc workers and very soon the final outcome will be announced.
The convention was attended by members from both the provincial bodies of the association. During the convention, the representatives of the clerical cadres apprised the Finance Minister of the problems of the clerical cadres.
While speaking on the occasion, Ravi Singh Bhau, president ADCSA, said that the removal of disparity/pay anomaly of clerical cadres has been a long pending issue which was addressed by the Finance Minister.
He said the State Government vide order no 420-GAD of 2016 dated 21-04-2016 has constituted an empowered committee to look into the recommendations of pay anomaly of 2012 and now the said empowered committee is about to submit their recommendations to the Government.
Sukhbir Singh, general secretary of the Association appealed the Clerical fraternity to be aware from anti clerical forces and self styled leaders who are on the path to mislead the cadre.
