JAMMU, Feb 27: Dr Parveen Yograj, MS (General Surgery), who is currently posted as Divisional Nodal Officer, National Health Mission (NHM), Jammu has been conferred with prestigious Curofy’s-2021 Icon of the Year Award for the consecutive year.
The award has been given to Dr Yograj in recognition of his notable performance and contribution to the medical fraternity across the country. He is the only doctor from J&K to receive this honor in the faculty of surgery and bringing laurel for the UT.
Dr Yograj is a senior doctor in the State Health Department, who has worked in different capacities in J&K, including Consultant with the then Chief Ministers. He has also been rendering philanthropic services to the needy and society without any consideration.
The Curofy is a common platform being operated through an exclusive social network App by the doctors of different specialties in the country to communicate and discuss medical advancements and various diseases and treatments. This is a wide network of over 5 lakh doctors from across the country, who shares latest techniques, diagnostic experiences in the field of medical sciences on a daily basis that ultimately help them in dealing with crucial issues.
Dr Parveen Yograj is an active member of Curofy since 2016 and has done immense work in his specialty, i.e. Surgery. Till date he has presented 782 write ups on interesting clinical cases and commented on over 20,000 cases related to surgical, medical and COVID-19 related issues. He has also circulated a number of videos on all important health related events for the awareness of patients and general masses through Curofy, TV channels, Twitter and Facebook.
