Dr Wani participates in national seminar

JAMMU, Mar 17: The hero of Urdu language and literature, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Wani, who is also known as a short story writer, critic, researcher and philosopher, participated in two-day national seminar held on March 15 and 16, 2014 at Malerkotla in Punjab.
The seminar was organized by Afsana Club, Malerkotla on the topic “Mashraki Punjab Ki Afsanvi Khidmaat”.
Dr Wani presented his paper on “Opinder Nath Ashak”. He also presented a short story “Sirgoshe”, which was appreciated by all the literary personalities present there.
Later the Afsana Club presented a memento to Dr Wani.
Other literary personalities which participated in the seminar were Dr Irtaza Kriem from Delhi University, Dr Aslam Jamsheed Puri from Meerut University, Noor-ul-Hussain and Moien-ud-Din Usmani from Aurangabad, Ishteyaq Sayeed from Mumbai, Dr Pervaz Sharyaar from Delhi, Mohd Abbas Mirza from Pakistan.
President of Afsana Club, Bashier Malerkotlavi and Salik Jameel Barar were also present.
