JAMMU, July 4: Dr Varun Suthra, renowned global policy advisor and expert on cybersecurity and international affairs, recently concluded a high-impact visit to Argentina’s Parliament in Buenos Aires.
During his visit, Dr Suthra held meaningful deliberations with prominent Members of Parliament, including Oscar Agost Carreño, Rocio Belén Bonacci, president of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with India and Fernando Iglesias, President of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Chamber of Deputies and a leading figure in Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA).
The discussions spanned across critical themes such as artificial intelligence, digital security and sports diplomacy, particularly volleyball, where Dr Suthra holds an international commission portfolio.
He also shared the pioneering work being carried out at KIIT and KISS Universities under the leadership of Dr Achyuta Samanta, positioning their models as global benchmarks for inclusive education and sustainable development.
Dr Suthra also met Suyay Mathiu, Deputy Director of International Relations at the Chamber of Deputies, and held strategic meetings with Senator Alex Campbell and Patricio Degiorgis, Director of BTR Consulting.
Suthra engaged in insightful discussions with Ambassador Hugo Juan Gobbi and Ambassador Estanislao Zawels, Coordinator of the BRICS Working Group at CARI.
He expressed gratitude to Mariano Caucino, Ambassador of Argentina to India and acknowledged the support of Camila López Badra, executive director of Democracia Global.
