JAMMU, Nov 27: Dr Varun Suthra, Director International Affairs, KIIT-KISS University and eminent scholar of Jammu Kashmir, has been invited as key note speaker and special guest in a prestigious session organised by Swiss Indian Parliamentary Group and Federation International de Football Association (FIFA), to be held in Bern, Switzerland on December 1.
Dr Suthra is the only guest speaker to share dais with President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino.
The prestigious event is being organised by Dr H C Nik Gugger, Member of Parliament Switzerland and the President of Swiss Indian Parliamentary Group.
In a hand out issued today, Dr Gugger said that this event would open new gateways of football training for young women in India.
Theme of the session is Under 17 Football Championship in India. Dr Suthra hails from Jammu and holds eminent positions on the boards of many prestigious national-international organisations.
