Dr Suthra delivers keynote address on cybersecurity in Spain Parliament

JAMMU, May 24: In a landmark international gathering at the historic Senate of Spain, Dr Varun Suthra, Director International Relations KIIT University delivered a powerful keynote address on cybersecurity at the 29th Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum.
The prestigious forum, attended by over 200 Members of Parliament from 60 countries, convened inside the Senate chamber, emphasizing global cooperation on emerging security challenges in the digital era. Dr Suthra’s address focused on the urgent need for a unified international framework on cybersecurity, drawing upon both contemporary threats and timeless strategic principles rooted in Indian philosophy.
Sharing the stage with distinguished leaders, Dr Suthra was joined on the panel by Senator José Antonio Monago Terraza of the Spanish Senate, Senator Olivier Cadic from the French Senate, and Dr Paul, President of the Montreal College, United States. Together, they offered diverse perspectives on safeguarding democratic institutions and citizens in an increasingly digital world.
Dr Suthra’s insights – blending ancient wisdom with forward-looking strategies – struck a chord with the global parliamentary audience. He emphasized on ethical digital governance, cross-border cooperation and strategic digital hygiene.
