Dr. Surjeet elected as Gurudwara Kalgidhar president

JAMMU, Dec 20: A special congregation was held here today at Gurudwara Kalgidhar Rehari wherein Sikh Sangat elected president of the Gurudwara. General Secretary of District Gurudwara Prabandak Committee (DGPC), S. Fateh Singh was nominated to conduct the election for which two nominations were filed.
The nominees were Dr. Surjeet Singh and Manmeet Singh Bitta.
With the help of few prominent persons of Gurudwara including Karan Singh Bali, Prit Pal Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Fateh Singh, Jagjit Singh, Swaran Singh, Manjeet Singh and others a consensus was made and Dr. Surjeet Singh was declared elected as president of Gurudwara Kalgidhar, Rehari.
Thereafter, Dr. Surjeet Singh along with the Sangat visited Digiana Ashram to take blessings of Mahant Manjeet Singh Ji.
The persons visiting Digiana Ashram were Karan Singh Bali, Davinder Singh Bali, Gurmukh Singh, Darbinder Singh, Kulwant Singh, Surinder Singh, Manjeet Singh, Satwant Singh, Sunmeet Singh, Kamalnain Singh, Balvinder Singh, Kamaljeet Singh, Gajan Singh, Om Singh and Daljeet Singh.
