Jammu, Mar 6: Dr Sudhaa Sharma & Dr Annil Mahajan, senior Consultants today bagged the rare honour of being elected & conferred with prestigous Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh,UK. Dr Sudhaa is the only Gynaeocologist from this region who has been awarded this distinct honour as it is very rarely awarded to non-Physicians.
This honour is because of enormous ,extraordinary,meritorious, distinct contributions of both the reputed doctors in promoting medical education, medical Journalism, patient care & awareness regarding different diseases in the masses through print & electronic media.
Dr Sudhaa, Secretary General Indian Menopause Society has 70 publications, 6 book chapters , edited 3 books & has been invited guest faculty in more than 100 National, zonal conferences & CME’s .Dr Sudhaa, former Prof Gynae, GMC Jammu is already an awardee of prestigious Fellowships like FICOG, FICMCH, FIMSA, FIMA- AMA,& has been conferred with Honorary Prof. IMA for her meritorious academic ahievements.
Dr Annil, former Prof & Head Medicine GMC ,Jammu has nearly 140 scientific publications,13 book chapters , edited 3 books & deliverd more than 50 invited guest lectures al National/Zonal conferences & CMEs. Awardee of Honorary Prof of IMA, he has been promoting Medical Journalism for last 23 years.
Editor in General JK Science, he is already an awardee of prestgious Fellowships like FICP, FIACM, FIMSA, FIMA- AMS, FRCP- Glasgow for his persistent sincere efforts in promoting medical education.
