JAMMU, Mar 6: Ankur Maitrika Hospital today conducted a free health checkup for the community at Gurudwara Ashram Digiana.
The camp was organized in connection with International Women’s Day. Around 150 people were examined during the camp and investigations were also done free of cost.
A team of doctors consisting of Dr Satvir Singh (Orthopaedic, Joint Replacement and Sports Injury Specialist), Dr Manpreet Kour (Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecology) and Dr Taranjeet Kour (General Physician) did the check-ups.
The objective of this initiative was to educate women to reduce the risk of lifestyle diseases by emphasizing on the importance of preventive health check-up as they are the integral part of the family and society.
