JAMMU, Feb 17: Senior Scientist, Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Dr Anil Sharma has been awarded Leadership Award 2016 during the 25th National Conference on ‘Natural resource management in arid and semi-arid ecosystem for climate resilient agriculture and rural development’ held at Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The award was conferred to Dr Sharma for his outstanding research contribution ‘as leader of various national network projects’ related to soil and water conservation, production efficiency of crops and climate change.
Dr Sharma has become second scientists from the State who has been awarded this prestigious award.
