JAMMU, Apr 19: Dr Shakti Dhar Sharma was honoured in the British Parliament for his exceptional professional excellence on the occasion of World Homeopathy Day, marking a significant international recognition of his contributions to the field of homeopathy.
Representing India as a member of the delegation at the World Summit, Dr Sharma’s presence underscored the growing global acknowledgement of alternative systems of medicine and their role in contemporary healthcare.
The recognition ceremony took place at the prestigious House of Lords, where he was honoured by British Member of Parliament Shivani Raja. The event witnessed participation from distinguished personalities, policymakers, and healthcare professionals from across the world.
In addition to this honour, Dr Sharma was also invited to a special award ceremony held at the renowned Natural History Museum in London, where he was conferred with the International Visionary Award. The award was presented by Alastair Cook (ex-cricketer of England team), recognizing Dr Sharma’s efforts in advancing homeopathy as a credible and effective healthcare system on the global stage.
Further adding to his list of accolades, Dr Sharma received an invitation to the prestigious University of Oxford, acknowledging his exemplary commitment and pioneering contributions towards the advancement of homeopathy in global healthcare.
Moreover, Dr Sharma was honoured with the Global Excellence Award, which was presented by Myles Stacey, who has served as an advisor to former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
