JAMMU, Oct 26: Dr Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Medical Superintendent of Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh (SMGS) Hospital, Jammu.
According to an order issued by Health & Medical Education Department on Thursday, Dr Rakesh Kumar Sharma (MBBS, D Ortho, MD Hospital Administration, SKIMS), has been transferred and posted as Deputy Medical Superintendent of SMGS Hospital, Jammu.
Dr Rakesh has done his MBBS from GMC Jammu in 1990-96 and Degree in Hospital Administration from SKIMS in 2010-13. He first served as Deputy Medical Superintendent in District Hospital, Rajouri of Health Department from 2013-17. He is not only an exceptional administrator but also a good Orthopaedic Surgeon.
