Jammu, Nov 6: Dr Poonam Parihar, Assistant Professor, Division of Agricultural Extension Education, SKUAST-Jammu was conferred upon Yashasvi Samman in the National Webinar on “Self Reliant India As Future Global Super Power” in recognition to her distinguish service for Science & Society by Royal Association For Science-Led Socio-Cultural Advancement Society (RASSA).
The award was presented by the Chief Guest Dr Onkar Singh, Vice- Chancellor, Birsa Agricultural University, Kanke, Ranchi, Prof. Ram Lakhan Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Nilambar-Pitambar Unuversity, Medininagar, Palamu, Jharkhand, Prof. Dharmendra Singh Sengar, Head Placements, Indian Institute Of Management Lucknow, Noida Campus & Prof A.K. Singh, President of the Society.
The Theme of the seminar was unique, appropriate & timely for agricultural development & socio-economic upliftment of farming community in India. Dr. Poonam Parihar also presented the paper on, “Agripreurship Development for Sustainable Agricultural Development & got the Best Paper Presentation Award.”
