Dr Manyal for regularisation of all contractual, adhoc employees

JAMMU, Sept 4: BJP general secretary and former Minister, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal has demanded regularisation of contractual and adhoc employees working in various Government departments of J&K UT.
Talking to reporters here, today he demanded formation of strong policy for this purpose and constitution of Committees in this regard for all departments on the pattern of Health and Medical Education Department which should submit their report in a time bound manner.
Dr Manyal was flanked by BJP vice-president, Aseem Gupta, former Minister, Sham Choudhary and media secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra during the press conference.
He welcomed the decision of H&ME Department, wherein it constituted a Committee to verify the process for regularizing consolidated and Adhoc employees and stated that the process will brighten the future of professional persons and empower them to serve the society with greater zeal. Terming it a genuine demand he said BJP has raised it on various platforms earlier.
Dr. Manyal said that LG of J&K UT, Manoj Sinha has taken very appreciable steps in very short time and appealed him that similar Committees be constituted to frame a strong policy to regularize all contractual, adhoc employees as well as daily wagers presently employed in various departments of Government like Information, RTO, MGNREGA, R&B, Irrigation, PHE, PDD etc. on the pattern of H&ME. He said that recruitment for the vacant posts be started through PSC & SSRB and the process be expedited to regularize employees.
He said that contractual lecturers of 10+2 recruited by an act by the then Government Rehbar-e-Khel, NYC etc. be also considered for the regularization processes besides, the contractual, consolidated and CP workers, need based/daily wagers and others in various departments. He also stressed on the registration of Medical Assistants and Pharmacists by the Para-Medical Council of J&K.
Dr. Manyal also raised a point to fill the vacant posts of AEs, JEs, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BPT etc. in the Union Territory as thousands of professionals PGs, graduates and diploma holders are lying idle in the J&K and last recruitment was done much time back.
Dr. Manyal complimented Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for giving due recognition to the prominent local languages of the Jammu & Kashmir. He lauded the decision by Union Cabinet to include Hindi, Dogri and Kashmiri as the official languages of J&K.
