The mega-scientific event was hosted at the prestigious Dr Chandramma Dayananda Sagar Institute of Medical Education and Research (CDSIMER), Dayananda Sagar University in Bengaluru, drawing a massive global audience of medical pioneers, clinical researchers, and pharmacologists.
MPSCon-2026 served as a premier global platform, attracting more than 500 delegates from across the world. The conference featured cutting-edge discussions on the future of therapeutics, drug safety and medical education, with Dr Malhotra’s session serving as one of the definitive highlights of the event.
During the scientific proceedings, Dr Malhotra delivered a masterful guest lecture titled “Translational Challenges from Bench to Bedside.” His presentation tackled the critical bottlenecks that medical science faces when attempting to transition laboratory discoveries (“the bench”) into safe, effective clinical therapies for patients (“the bedside”).
In recognition of his monumental contributions to the field of medical pharmacology and his exceptional oratorical impact, Dr Malhotra was formally honored during a grand Investiture Ceremony.
“Receiving this award from the Medical Pharmacologists Society is both humbling and deeply encouraging,” said Dr Malhotra. “The journey from a laboratory concept to a life-saving treatment at a patient’s bedside is filled with complex regulatory, scientific, and ethical challenges. Addressing these gaps is vital if we are to accelerate global healthcare innovation.”
