JAMMU, July 14: Union Minister of State in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh today took up the issue with regard to the issuance of necessary notification for providing reservation certificates to the youth living along the International Border in Kathua, Samba and Jammu districts with the Administration of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
While reacting to a report appearing in ‘Daily Excelsior’ on Tuesday, Dr Jitendra Singh Tweeted, ” I have taken up the issue with the UT Govt of Jammu and Kashmir. Instructions were immediately passed on to issue IB Reservation Certificates on the same pattern as being issued to those living along LoC. Aspirant candidates, please feel reassured, you will not be allowed to suffer any disadvantage on this account.”
The Excelsior had today projected the plight of thousands of unemployed educated youth residing along the International Border in Jammu region, who are not being issued IB Reservation Certificates by the concerned Tehsildars, on the plea that necessary notification in this regard is yet awaited from the J&K UT Administration for the last about one year.
