SRINAGAR, Sept 7: Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, an accomplished Kashmiri physician, public health expert, medical writer, and Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH, UK), has been featured in the Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) Newsletter publication – “Global Indian Physicians in the News”.
The March 2025 edition of the newsletter highlighted Dr Itoo’s prestigious recognition with the Indian Achievers Award 2025 for his outstanding contributions to healthcare, medical education and public health awareness.
GAPIO, a worldwide organization representing over 1.4 million physicians of Indian origin across 58 countries, acknowledged Dr Itoo’s efforts in advancing diabetes awareness, public health advocacy and medical writing. His feature in GAPIO’s publication underlines his growing international recognition and commitment to the vision of “Improving Health Worldwide.”
