JAMMU, Oct 11: Principal, Government Medical College, Jammu Dr. Nasib C. Digra today inspected the vital patient care facilities including wards in the Medical College Hospital (MCH).
Accompanied by Dy. Medical Superintendent, MCH, Dr. Rehana, Officer Incharge Control Room, Dr ADS Manhas, Officer Incharge cum MRO Sanitation Dr. Rajneesh, Matron, and other Incharges of various sections, the Principal conducted a detailed round of HDU, Emergency, Control Room, Ward 11, Room No. 7 and other vital patient care areas.
He interacted with doctors and staff on duty and enquired about their problems and well being. He further inspected parking areas and issued necessary directions to concerned to ensure hassle free movement of traffic within the hospital premises.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent GMC informed that all the issues related to oxygen supply have been resolved and there is no problem in this regard in the hospital.
He said that a total 470 oxygen cylinders have been consumed in the last 12 hours including 440 in GMC and 30 in CD Hospital. He further informed that there are 129 ventilators in GMC and all are functional.
