JAMMU, Feb 24: Bhartiya Janata Party State vice president and Mem-ber Central Wakf Council of Uni-on Ministry of Minority Affairs (Government of India), Dr Darakhshan Andrabi has received the prestigious D. Lit degree for her research work from Vikramshilla University of Bhagalpur in Bihar.
Dr Andrabi was awarded the degree at the Convocation of the Vidhyapeeth held at Devibabu Auditorium at Ishapur, Bhagalpur in which the Vidyapeeth Chancellor & Vice Chancellor presented the Post-Doctorate Degree to her who has earlier done her Ph. D from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
Later, Dr Andrabi released the yearly publications of the University and spoke on the occasion. Author of several books and the recipient of many National awards, Dr Andrabi is known as the highly educated, intellectual politician of Jammu and Kashmir State.
