NEW DELHI, July 28: Dr Batra’s Healthcare today said it will open a total of 78 homoeopathy clinics across the country and abroad in the ongoing financial year as part of its expansion plans.
“We will open 76 clinics in India and one each in Dubai and United Kingdom by the end of the current fiscal year,” Dr Batra’s Healthcare Founder Chairman Mukesh Batra told.
The clinics in India will be in a mix of company owned and franchise models, he added.
“Out of the total new clinics planned in the country in this financial year, 20 will be company owned while 56 will be through franchising,” Batra said.
When asked about the investments, the company will incur for the expansion, Batra said the investments will be only for the clinics that will be company owned, while on others investments will be made by the franchisees.
“In tier I and tier II cities the clinics will be owned by company while clinics in tier III and tier IV cities they will be franchised,” Batra said. Overseas the new clinics will be in Dubai and UK, he added.
As part of its expansion plans, the company has also entered into other verticals beyond homoeopathic treatment such as Dr Batra’s Aesthetic Solutions and Dr Batra’s Positive Health Products, a company that makes 26 natural products for personal care.
The company, which currently has around 1,000 people on its rolls, is also confident about adding to its staff strength as it follows the expansion path.
Dr Batra’s Healthcare currently has 112 homoeopathy clinics spread across over 50 cities in India and one each in UK and Dubai. (PTI)
