JAMMU, Sept 26: Incharge Senior Scientist-cum-Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J) Dr Banarsi Lal has been conferred with the Best Scientist Award in the 7th Faculty Branding Awards-2019.
The award ceremony was held recently at Kolkata. The award was constituted of Certificate of Excellence and a gold plated citation.
South Asian Education Awards are incubated by the Education Expo TV (EET CRS) with the major objective to recognize the achievements of scientists, academicians and institutions at national and international level. The dedication and commitments of scientists and academicians are considered by the organisation.
The South Asian Education Award research panel conferred the best scientist award to the versatile scientist based on his quality research papers, books, book chapters, success stories, popular articles, case studies, Radio/TV talks, invited talks, consultancy services, SHGs/Farmers Clubs managed, technologies developed, refined and disseminated, projects handled etc. for the welfare of the farming community.
