KATHUA, Dec 16: Delhi Public School Kathua hosted its spectacular Annual function, Magnum Opus 2024, under the theme “Magnum Opus: A Symphony of Body and Mind.” The event, marked by cultural brilliance and academic celebration, was graced by distinguished guests, including Balwant Thakur, Padma Shri Awardee and Choudhary Lal Singh, ex-Minister and Ex-MP.
The occasion was presided over by Kanta Andotra, Founder Chairperson of DPS Kathua, whose visionary leadership continues to inspire the institution. The school’s Directors, Divya Suraj Partap Singh, Divya Chander Partap Singh and Gauri Thakur were also present, showcasing their continued support for the school’s success.
The welcome speech was eloquently delivered by Samraj Singh, setting the stage for the celebrations. The event kicked off with cultural performances included a series of colorful and energetic dances, such as Aurora of Celebration by UKG, Nature’s Symphony of Love by LKG and Rangla Punjab by Grade XI, among many others, reflecting the creativity and talent of the students.
Vivek Arora, Principal of DPS Kathua, presented the Annual School Report, highlighted the institution’s milestones, achievements, and initiatives over the past year.
Students were recognized for their achievements in academics and co-curricular activities, including perfect attendance and State Olympiad Toppers. The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Gauri Thakur, marking the success of Magnum Opus 2024.
