JAMMU, Oct 29: Department of Post (DoP) today announced a special discount of 7 per cent on sale of Gold coins on the special occasions of “Dhanteras” festival on November 11.
The designated Post Offices in J&K Circle for sale of Gold coins are Jammu Tawi Head Post Office, Gandhi Nagar Head Post Office, Udhampur Head Post Office, Srinagar General Post Office, Kathua Head Post Office, Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar Post Office, RS Pura Post Office, Miran Sahib Post Office, Janipur Post Office, Baramulla Head Post Office, Bandipora Post Office and Leh Head Post Office. The designated Post Offices will remain open on this auspicious occasion.
This Special offer will be available up to December 31. India Post sells Gold coins manufactured by Vulcambi of Switzerland, which are of 24 carats Gold with 99.99 per cent purity.
