Donations continue to pour in for fighting COVID-19

JAMMU, May 1: Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department today contributed an amount of Rs 66.88 lakh towards J&K Relief Fund to augment the Government’s efforts to combat COVID-19 pandemic. The officers of the department voluntarily contributed two-day salary and other employees contributed one-day salary for the noble cause.
Chamber of Traders Federation (CTF) in tandem with Jammu Vegetable and Fruit Association (JVFA) and M/s Fairdeal Marketing Company contributed Rs 4 lakh towards PM CARES Fund. President JVFA, Surinder Singh Kala handed over a cheque of Rs 3 lakh to Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta and on behalf of Fairdeal Marketing Company, Neeraj Anand, president CTF, handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to Narayan Singh, Incharge, Social and Religious Organisations, BJP.
BJP Mandal Pradhan, Thathri, Subhash Kumar, donated Rs 38,160 in favour of PM CARES Fund by presenting a bank cheque to Manager of SBI Bank, Branch Thathri.
