JAMMU, May 8: Dogri Sanstha Jammu organized an online `Kahani Goshthi’, in which well-known short story writers of Dogri literature read their stories.
They not only forced the audience to think about the contents therein and other relevant parts of the stories like characters built up and situations well knitted through the thought provoking plots but also mesmerized them with their presentation.
Among these story writers, Chaman Panthi , an established Dogri short story writer, read “Rishtey Di Sadhain”; Indrajit Kesar, Sahitya Academy awardee and prolific Dogri writer read emotional story “Khinj” whereas one of the outstanding short story writers of Dogri with many memorable stories to her credit read another well acclaimed symbolic short story “Kirdaar”.
Professor Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha, Jammu, while presiding over the function, said that these writers have given a significant message through their stories that there is no dearth of good stories written in Dogri literature.
The program was conducted by Pawan Verma. This online program was seen and appreciated across the country and abroad through the Facebook page of Dogri Sanstha.
