JAMMU, Dec 1: To observe World Aids Day, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) presented Dogri Musical Play ‘AIDS Kola Bacho’.
The Play was written, produced and directed by M.L Dogra, former Assistant Director of Song and Drama Division.
The programme was inaugurated by Zulekha Farid, renowned Singer of J&K as chief guest while V.K Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity; Dr. Tara Singh Charak and J.K Raina, Freelancer Producer-Director Films presided over the function.
The chief guest while speaking on the occasion threw light on causes of AIDS and ways to remain safe from it.
BLSKS artist sung the songs like ‘Savdhan Savdhan Ae Manav Jati Savdhan’, ‘Jano Jano AIDS Rog Gi Jano’ etc while the music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor of BLSKS.
Earlier, welcoming the dignitaries M.L Dogra talked about observance of World AIDS Day and its importance.
The singers, musician and actors who performed in the programme were Usha Handoo, M.C Kotwal, Raju Bajgal, Rajni Gupta, Kuldeep Raj, Bindia Arora, Azeen Ali, Ujwal Sharma, Sooraj Parkash, Bosh Raj, Sakshi Kumari, Sanjeev Sodhi, Kanchan, Bablu Kumar, Zafar, Dhruv Pandit, Rakshit Sharma and others.
K.K Joshi, Vice Chairman BLSKS presented the vote of thanks.
