Dogra Sadar Sabha honours renowned writer Ayodhya Nath Kerni

UDHAMPUR, Apr 15: Ayodhya Nath Kerni, a renowned writer from Udhampur, was honoured by Dogra Sadar Sabha, Udhampur Unit, in a simple but impressive function organized at Housing Colony, here today.
Ayodhya Nath Kerni recently received a cash prize of rupees one lakh and citation from Kendriya Hindi Nirdheshalya, Delhi, for his book titled “Sudh Maha Dev ” based on the history of Sudh Maha Dev and stories related to Shiva, Parvati and others myth and realities based on stone inscriptions etc.
K K Bharadwaj, president Dogra Sadar Sabha Udhampur unit, presented a memento and Shawl to honour Ayodhya Nath Kerni. On the occasion, Prof Shiv Nirmohi, a renowned writer of Udhampur highlighted the achievements of A N Kerni and his dedication and work for promoting Duggar culture and exploring history and heritage for coming generations.
Anil Paba, freelance archaeologist from Udhampur, also appreciated the research work of Kerni. Prominent among those present on the occasion, included Manmohan Raina, R P Sharma, Souhail Khokher, Akshat and others.
